Personality: Asagi is the least impulsive and stubborn of the trio of neogene sisters that face off against the Witchblade wielder, though perhaps not the most capable. She is the most mentally mature, not as quick to anger as Maria or as easily impressed as Aoi. She has a sort of irreverence for just about anything and everything, and does things more or less because she wants to. Entertainment value is the thing Asagi seems to value most in the things she has to do/is asked to do. If she can’t come up with a reason that she’ll be entertained, she either won’t do something, or she’ll half-ass it.
As most things tend to be incredibly easy for her because of her physiology and the fact that she’s been trained since about birth to be good at anything and everything she does, she enjoys just about anything that can be a real challenge to her- especially in a fight. Despite not showing much enthusiasm for anything else- from beating her other sisters in a tournament-like setup, being selected to help Maria, or getting her own Dual Cloneblades- she is more than eager to take on the Ex-Con machines attracted to her and her sisters due to their cloneblades. In fact, one of the few positive things she says in any of her appearances at all is "I like fighting."
Unlike Aoi, Asagi doesn't seem to hold her other sisters in much regard, as she follows Maria simply for something to do rather than out of a sense of any real respect. Even when one of the trio is killed, she remarks callously on the subject with little regard for her sister's demise. Her further inferring that Maria doesn’t know what she wants the Witchblade for earns her a deathblow, something Asagi, even with her penchant for trying to manipulate her sisters into questioning themselves, didn't expect. It proves that while she may be effective in poking and prodding at people's weaknesses, she is no expert when it comes to those that are as unstable as the ruthless Maria, or at understanding when to back off and not press her luck.
Regardless, Asagi isn’t the type to regret the things she does, or what they make people think of her or how it makes them feel about her. She is more or less fearless, and hesitate in pressing Maria for details on her motivations, despite knowing that the other Neogene is stronger than she is. She’s also not afraid to speak her mind, as when she’s chastised by Aoi for questioning Maria, she simply continues to mention the opinion shared by most of the sisters- well within earshot of Maria’s office- with no visible fear of any repercussions. As she’s lived a somewhat sheltered life because of her ‘upbringing’, she also probably doesn’t quite realize what it is and isn’t okay to say to people regardless.
Abilities: Dual Cloneblades- Essentially all the same powers as the Witchblade in this canon, which includes but is hardly limited to: incredibly enhanced strength, speed and durability, the ability to jump high and far enough to traverse over buildings and bridges, energy projectiles, growing blades out of armor, and growing hair into somewhat prehensile, spear-like tendrils.
Neogene Physiology- A fancy way of saying she's genetically-engineered to be faster, stronger, smarter and hardier than your average human being. Most Neogenes also seem to be able study and master a subject in a matter of days, if not hours, given the right materials and environment (may also include an eidetic memory) and are supposed to have an overall genius level intellect.
